Withdrawal & Refund Policy

This Withdrawal & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through sacredwithin.de, including digital products offered under Sacred Within and original physical artworks offered under Sacraia.
1. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days without giving any reason, subject to the applicable statutory requirements and the specific rules for digital content described below.
For digital content, the withdrawal period begins when the contract is concluded.
For physical goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me of your decision by means of a clear statement within the applicable withdrawal period.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notice before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Withdraw from a Contract Online
You can also exercise an existing right of withdrawal using the electronic withdrawal function:
If you use this function, you will receive electronic confirmation that your withdrawal request has been received.
3. Digital Content
Sacred Within digital content is generally made available electronically immediately after a successful purchase.
For paid digital content, the right of withdrawal expires once provision of the digital content has begun, provided that you have previously:
- expressly agreed that provision may begin before the end of the withdrawal period;
- confirmed that you understand that you lose your right of withdrawal once provision begins; and
- received the corresponding contract confirmation.
The required consent and confirmation are requested separately during checkout.
Without the required consent, immediate access to the digital content will not be provided.
Once provision has begun following the required consent and confirmation, there is no longer a statutory right of withdrawal for that digital content.
Your statutory rights in the event of defective, unavailable or non-conforming digital content remain unaffected.
4. Returns of Sacraia Original Artworks
If you exercise a statutory right of withdrawal for a Sacraia original artwork, the artwork must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing me of your withdrawal.
Before sending an artwork back, please contact hello@sacredwithin.de for the correct return address and appropriate return instructions.
Please do not send an artwork to the correspondence address without receiving return instructions first, as this address may not be equipped to accept valuable artwork returns.
This request for prior contact does not restrict or invalidate a statutory right of withdrawal exercised within the applicable period.
The artwork must be securely packaged for its return journey. Where possible, the original protective packaging should be used. If it is no longer available, suitable protective packaging must be used.
I strongly recommend using an insured and trackable shipping service appropriate to the value of the artwork and retaining the shipping receipt and tracking information until the return has been completed.
5. Return Shipping Costs
If you return an artwork because you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you bear the direct cost of returning the artwork.
If an artwork is defective, damaged upon delivery or is not the artwork ordered, I will bear the necessary return costs where required by law.
6. Condition of Returned Artworks
You may inspect an artwork in the same way that you could reasonably inspect it in a physical store.
You are responsible only for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and condition of the artwork.
Because every Sacraia original is unique, an identical replacement will generally not be available.
7. Refunds
If you validly exercise an existing right of withdrawal, the payments required to be reimbursed by law will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of your withdrawal notice.
For returned physical artworks, reimbursement may be withheld until the artwork has been received or you have provided evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not be charged additional fees by me for the refund.
Where an artwork has suffered a loss in value because it was handled beyond what was necessary to inspect it, an appropriate deduction may be made where permitted by law.
8. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Artworks
Please inspect your Sacraia artwork and its packaging promptly after delivery.
If the artwork or packaging arrives damaged, please photograph the package before opening it where reasonably possible.
Please contact hello@sacredwithin.de and provide, where relevant:
- your name and order number;
- photographs of the external packaging;
- a photograph of the shipping label;
- photographs of the internal protective materials;
- photographs showing any damage to the artwork; and
- a brief description of the issue.
Please retain the artwork and all original packaging until further instructions have been provided. This information may be required for a transport-insurance or carrier claim.
If damage occurred during transportation, I will handle the matter with the carrier or transport insurer. You are not required to pursue the carrier independently.
Failure to provide photographs or report damage immediately does not remove any mandatory statutory rights.
9. Customers Outside the European Union
Customers outside the European Union may have withdrawal or return rights under the law applicable to them.
Where no mandatory statutory right applies, I voluntarily accept return requests for Sacraia original artworks made within 14 days after receipt, subject to the return conditions in this policy.
For such voluntary international returns, the customer bears the return shipping costs, appropriate insurance costs, customs documentation and any import or export charges associated with the return.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
